Duncan's Diner

The catfish fillets were thick, seasoned well, and crispy. Baked beans were delicious with a sweet taste. The fries are basic frozen fries, but crunchy and golden. The staff are friendly as you would expect in a Missouri small town. The brownie was dense and tastes homemade, which all of the desserts are homemade. I personally like my brownies more fudgy but the flavor was still wonderful. My favorite was the coconut cream pie. It tastes exactly like my grandma's and that is hard to do. Duncan's Diner is worth the drive.

We stopped in for the first time on the 4th of April this year. The staff were very nice and the food was great. We definitely are coming back to try other stuff on their big menu.. thank you for and wonderful first time experience. Try the tenderloin it's great . We love the mom and pop restaurants and try and support them as often as we can

My wife and I went for a ride and went through Prairie Home. We noticed Duncans Diner and thought we'd try a home town diner instead of eating in Columbia. Glad we did! I had the chicken fried steak special with gravy, green beans and mashed potatoes while my wife chose the BLT. Everything was delicious! Our server was super friendly and the pricing and portions was good and fair. We'll definitely be eating here again. If you're wanting to take a country drive and try something new, here you go!

We had never been to Duncan’s Diner before but met our cousin and her husband there for breakfast. Service was excellent as well as the food. Our server was very attentive but not overly so. If you are passing through or live in Prairie Home you must stop by. They will treat you like a local and that’s good!

By far the best Diner food in the area! Awesome breakfast and lunch - you'll always want to try the special. Their cheeseburgers are no joke either - it's stacked so tall you can barely fit it in your mouth. If you're driving through the area, make sure to stop here. You won't be disappointed!

I live in Prairie Home and the diner is amazing. They are very supportive of our small community. The food there is amazing. Great prices and great portions. Staff being friendly, energetic, and fast is just a bonus. The pies are to die for. I don't care which one. All amazing

It was INCREDIBLE I was shocked with the quality of the food and the homey feel. Please come you will not be disappointed. I have been coming here for years and not once have I had a bad experience. The food is delicious.
